The first, and currently only, official Gex plush was a promotional item from Bensussen Deutsch & Associates (BD&A) that was made available when purchasing the Game Boy Color game Gex 3: Deep Pocket Gecko directly from Eidos’s website. While the plush was a bonus for buying the handheld iteration of the third game in the series, the plush’s design is actually based Gex’s secret agent costume from the second game in the series, Gex: Enter the Gecko.
