The first Youtooz Bubsy plush was announced shortly after the one from Limited Run, but released months before it. It went up for preorder on the Youtooz website starting on August 26, 2025, and like many Youtooz plushes, it was only available to preorder for a limited period of slightly less than a month, though it was also available to purchase from Atari’s website once it was released. Preorders began shipping around December 2025, often taking a month or more to arrive at their final destination.

As of August 2026, the first Youtooz Bubsy plush is sold out on both the Youtooz and Atari websites, however, two new Youtooz Bubsy plushes based on Bubsy 4D went up for preorder in 2026 and are due to release later in the year.
